Vagina:
The stretchable canal that forms the passageway from the uterus to the outside of the body.

Vaginal Discharge:
Fluid that comes out of the vagina from the cervical canal or vagina.

Vaginal Intercourse:
Sexual intercourse in which the penis enters the vagina.

Vaginal Pouch – (Female Condom):
A latex sheath with flexible rings at each end that is inserted deep into the vagina like a diaphragm. It is an over-the-counter, barrier method of birth control that provides protection against many sexually transmitted infections. It is also sold online at many online condoms stores. Vaginismus:
Vaginismus is an involuntary contraction of the muscles surrounding the entrance to the vagina, making penetration impossible and/or painful during sexual intercourse or any kind of vaginal penetration.

Vaginitis:
An inflammation of the vagina that sometimes is caused by a change in the normal balance of vaginal bacteria and the normal level of yeast in the vagina.

Varicocele:
An enlargement of the spermatic vein, which supplies blood to the testicle. It can reduce blood flow and increase the temperature of the testicle, thereby causing infertility.

Vas Deferens:
Thin tubes that transports sperm from the testis to the urethra.

Vasectomy:
Surgical blocking or removal of a tiny piece of the vasa deferentia in men that is intended to provide permanent birth control.

Venereologist:
One who studies sexually transmitted diseases.

Viability:
The ability of a fetus to survive outside a woman’s body.

Victorians:
People who lived during and after the reign of Britain’s Queen Victoria (1837-1901), especially those who shared her fears about human sexuality.

Virgin:
A person who has not had sexual intercourse.

Virginity:
Never have hading sexual intercourse.

Virility:
The sexual potency of a man.

Voyeurism:

A paraphilia in which sexual arousal becomes dependent on watching people undress or have sex play while they are unaware that they are being watched.

Voyeurs:
People who become aroused by secretly watching another person undress or engage in sexual behavior.

Vulva:
The external female genitalia, including the labia (majora and minora), clitoris, vaginal opening and two Bartholin’s glands.
